Ever thought the vanilla ambulance looked like a turd? Me too! Not to mention the jurisdictional issues with all of them being from Farewell. Well say Farewell to the Farewell Fire Department's EMS service, as they just got privatized! This mod retextures all ambulances in the game to a new livery based directly on American Medical Response Econoline ambulance fleet. These ambulances are a common sight across the United States, and rural Oregon is no different.
Included optional file that does not change the lightbar texture. The ambulance and tow truck models share the lightbar texture, so there's no way to change one without changing both. So pick whether you want a bunch of amber on the ambulance or a bunch of red on the tow truck and go from there.
INSTALLATION: If you already have mods set up, simply drop the pak into your localappdata paks folder
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MODS SET UP here is a simple tutorial: -Navigate to DaysGone\BendGame\Content -rename "startuppackages.pak" to literally anything else. The game looks for that exact file name, so changing a single character such as making it "startuppackages1.pak:" should work. -go to %localappdata%\Local\BendGame\Saved\Paks. If there is no Paks folder, simply make a new folder and title it Paks. -extract the contents of this file to the aforementioned Paks folder -launch game and test that the mod is working
