About this mod
This adds a basic backpack to Deacon. There are currently six different variations you can choose from. In my opinion Deacon would need a backpack to carry all the gear and supplies he collects in the world. This mod fixes that problem. No other mods are required to use this. This mod only adds a backpack.

Is this mod compatible with the REMASTERED version of the game?
Yes. You need to create a ~mods folder inside of your Paks folder and place all mods inside this folder. Other than this, following all instructions above should still work.
To install the mod
Step 1
Open your game directory and find this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks
find this file:
startuppackages.pak
change the name to:
disabled_startuppackages.pak
Step 2
Download the main file
Right click the downloaded folder and EXTRACT the file to unzip it.
Move the 500-BackpackMod_P.pak file to this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\paks
This mod does not require any other mods to work.
