Permissions and credits
INSTALLATION

Paste the downloaded .pak file into %LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\Paks folder. Create it if it doesn't exists.


ACTIVATE .PAK FILES

In order for the game to read .pak files, you need to go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks folder and rename the startuppackages.pak file to startuppackages_modsenabled.pak. You need to do this only once for all your mods.


CHANGES

  • Edits ammo reserve (never exceed values from Up The Ante skill so you can take the skill safely).
  • Real life ammo capacity, rate of fire & damages for all weapons
  • Removes nerf of NPC's rate of fire (same as player now)
  • NPC guns deals half damage compare to the player. So if you play in Hard2 with my Difficulty Tweaks mod, NPCs deal the same amount of damage as player.
  • All melee weapons are now uniques with custom durability & strength
  • Edited weapon stats are now reflected on in-game schemes
  • Adds Subnose revolver UI textures (install my Item Tweaks mod to get it)
  • Restores Glock 41 model (install my Item Tweaks mod to get it)
  • Removes bullet trails
  • Hides the knife from the boot

Please share your opinion about weapon stats and how we could edit them for a more realistic experience. Refers to my Google Sheets for gun & melee stats.
