!WARNING!

9/20/2022
Due to potential game breaking updates this might not work based on feedback. However possible fix in comments. Please read and test for yourself. I may be able to splice some files later to use older version to be compatible with current game version when I have the time. You may be able to use the other edit by using the hotfix in the comment section too so don't forget to try the previous version via archive!

VERSION 2.3 TEST

Latest update with minimal changes to new game update after September 2022 due to new Patch by Bendgame studios. Satchel version only but it is only a test version. Please use it on all difficulties and try to use the Debug Mod if you can in order to give ammo at start of game once you get opportunity to use the wheel menu. Pistol should have like 60 ammo when you give all ammo. Appreciate it if everyone helps test it so we can all help me hammer out a proper fix.

Warning!

Due to the lockout of the Perks files I cannot change the Ante-up skill and it's values so DO NOT GRAB THE SKILL! It will reset all values you have been warned! Also, NewGame advised or NewGame+ as it may not work with ongoing campaigns!

Description:
The mod does what it says. It increases ammo reserve for all weapons by 3 times the original amount along with Duffle version that had insane amounts of ammo that justify why Deacon drowns (Lol). Table is below for reference to vanilla values datamined in the files, most versions roughly follow the same format. So please, leave a comment or endorse this mod if you like it or have any questions. I'll do my best to answer it. If trouble modding look in comments section, Vortex does S*** job at installing these mods so you have to install it manually. It's actually recommended to do so, don't be afraid to ask for help. Especially if you're modding I might be able to help answer questions too.

Interesting Notes:

Some things happened that I've noticed while testing this on new games. I noticed that ammunition cans when picked up is scaled to a percentage of your total ammo pool. Meaning ammo replenishment scales to the amount of reserves ammo is capped. Makes sense and makes it stupid easy to replenish and resupply as a pro. Unfortunately as con replenishing ammunition via merchant is dummy expensive now considering you're basically buying the equivalent of an entire duffle bag of ammunition instead of a pocket full of bullets when you've emptied your reserves. Well, you can't have everything right so it balances it out a bit. Keeps you from completely wasting all your ammo in one run and forces you to scavenge police cars for free ammo that otherwise wouldn't be over 800 credits for a full resupply.

BUGS

Bugs you might encounter are the SRR reverting to 20 rounds reserve when you reload it while having a suppressor on but really it still has the reserves tucked in behind the coding so no big deal. I've encountered this many times but I rarely ever use the Soviet Sniper Rifle (SSR) or whatever.

Compatibility issues
Will not work with any mod that alters literally one file which is used by some mods like Carpio's Rebalanced V1.1 mod thus far that I know. It should be compatible with almost every mod out there that alters weapons. There are two files in here that adjust weapon ammo capacity and one of them I know for certain is used in certain weapon mods like Bhaeron's Tommygun mod so it will be incompatible. Carpio's Weapon Rebalance is also incompatible. Might not with Shotgun mods that also alter ammo capacity so they're not going to work either, crafting mods will work, re-shade mods definitely, equipment mods like suppressor, fuel mods for the bike, etc should also work just not actual GUN MODS. If it doesn't have compatibility please leave a comment so that I can try and hammer in a fix if I can.

Shoutouts

I want to thank Bhaeron the creator of Multiple Difficulty Rebalances for helping me figure out a fix for the mod. I also want to thank  KaiHeilos for the creation of his Asset Editor. Without it modding Days Gone wouldn't have been as successful. Also everyone who helped test the mod and responded in the comments it really helped me find out how to fix things.
