If you are using an engine speed mod and find that regular brakes can no longer keep up with the speed then... well you get the point.
Note #1: Brake upgrades by default actually provide a brake bonus strength, but with this mod all brakes will apply the same improved value.
Alternative Version: I made an alternative optional version which is a bit weaker, in this version upgrading brakes will gradually improve braking strength so you can fine tune the strength you need, all brakes will still be stronger than vanilla brakes, and weaker than the main mod version.
Note #2: imo the brakes like this become too strong that on the regular engine it pretty much eliminates the ability the drift, if you hit the handbrakes and turn it will just slow down\stop. So unless this is what you want I'd recommend you don't use this mod without an engine speed mod.
Installation:
Unpack the .rar and copy .pak file from it to %LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\Paks
If this is your first mod then first:
Go to %LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\ & create a new folder and name it 'Paks'
Go to your Game installation folder, to "Days Gone\BendGame\Content" and rename the folder sfpaks to sfpakss
