About this mod

Young lovers of two ancient rival tribes, Koru and Sha one day decided to leave their home to start a family of their own. Help them settle their home, survive winters, start a family, fight raiders and establish a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.

Permissions and credits
Publishing a mod that I created in the spring of 2023. This is a compilation/reworking of mods created by other authors, “Flatlands” maps pack + “Koru and Sha” scenario. The mod's focus is on the hardcore start of the game, where you start with just two tribesmen and no migration.
The mod was created on version 1.7.2, but is compatible with 1.8.1.

On the download page you will find two versions of the mod:
2and2 tribesmen - another couple will join you when you have 3 living tents and 1 storage tent, but not before 6 years have passed
2 tribesmen - no one else will join your start couple - even more difficult scenario, I haven't played with it, even the 2+2 version is quite difficult

1. Starting equipment changed:
  - there are no more sleighs, why would you drag a sleigh with stones and sticks on a long journey if there are stones and sticks everywhere?
  - 4 dry skins instead of 2, which is much more rational and useful
  - both have a wooden spear
2. Game maps
+5 maps from Flatland mod, marks on the map of Eurasia have been changed for better realism.
I changed the "Jungle" map to "Taiga", the climatic conditions are similar to the Tundra, but with more trees and animals
In the Oasis, more vegetation is concentrated near the water, and less in the desert
The parameter for the growth of reeds on the banks of reservoirs has been reworked, now it will grow on all banks (does not affect locations with a unique setting for this parameter, such as the “Nile Delta”)
The North River Valley map is designed to be played at map size 5 (there's an amazing location for a city at the confluence of two rivers that wouldn't be there at map size 4), so animal spawning is increased by 50% due to the larger map.
To set the map size to 5, go to exiledcouple.scn.xml (just find the file in your Steam Workshop mods folder) and change <size value="4"/> to <size value="5"/>. When you play on other maps, return the value to "4" back.
3. Animal settings.
Due to the increase in map sizes, there are approximately 50% fewer animals on all maps except for the exceptions below:
- Africa, a limited number of species live there, but their numbers are adjusted so that hunting is not a problem
- arctic and tundra, a small number of species live in harsh conditions, finding prey for hunting will be much more difficult
- at the desert oasis the number of animals is significantly reduced, because they will still come from all over the location to the only lake
Kinds:
- Arctic & Tundra: very few people live there (wolves, bears, deer, musk oxen, mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses), all domesticated animals will have to be bought.
- Europe: no musk ox and reindeer.
- Africa: no bison, aurochs, rhinoceroses (these are not the rhinoceroses that live there now), bears, deer, wolves (but I did not include the extinction of cave hyenas). Cave lions, surprisingly, did not live in Africa.
4. Milestones edited and added new, a small storyline was added at the start, which the author began to do but did not finish.
5. After several years of playing, another young couple comes to you, instead of one man. Migration is disabled.
6. In later eras, more raiders come and attacks more often:
- Neolithic: 3-6 raiders, one more for each 10 population, every 2.25 years +/- 0.25 year
- Copper Age: 6-10 raiders, one more for each 10 population, every 2.0 years +/- 0.25 year
- Bronze Age: 10-16 raiders, one more for each 10 population, every 1.75 years +/- 0.25 year
- Iron Age: 16-26 raiders, one more for each 10 population, every 1.5 years +/- 0.25 year

Installation
Place the "Koru And Sha Reworked" folder at Documents\DawnOfMan\Scenarios, if there is no "Scenarios" folder, create it.
