Features:
- Stats, weapons, armor, rings and spells are based on the actual in-game NPCs data (bosses though have none unfortunately).
- Face of the character will be exactly the same as the NPCs (when it is available).
- Gwyn sword permanently shows the fire effect and does a bit fire damage.
- You get 1-2 mid game gestures for every NPC-based character (for example Praise the Sun for Solaire).
- You get 3 items for online play: white & red soapstones and red orb.
Known limitations:
- The mod for English language only.
- All characters start at high or mid soul level, so they are hugely OP for early game. But at the late game it should be fine, since all character stats a balanced to have 82-85 stat points at SL1.
Installation instructions
- Download my files and unpack them.
- Create a back up of your Dark Souls Remastered folder.
- Pick a character set you need (see above).
- Copy all content of my Data_Set[X] folder to your Dark Souls Remastered folder and replace the files when prompted.
- Switch Steam to offline mod.
- Launch Dark Souls via Steam.
Online play
It's highly recommended to set Steam to offline to avoid risk of been banned. There were several reports that you can get banned if you use this mod, even if you uninstall it, but keep playing with the modified character.
Compatibility
It's compatible with most of the mods, since you can install the mod, create a character, and then install another mod to play with the character. The only exception is Gwyn's Sword fire effect, for it you need my GameParam file.
If you think that my work is worth it, and want to encourage me: here is my donations link. (language can be switched in the right bottom corner)
Also, check out other mods of mine:
- NG+ Infinite - removes difficulty cap, which game has at NG+6 and adds 12 quality of life items.
- Double Trouble (for DS: Remastered) - duplicates enemies.
- Enchanted Edition - brings various additional effects to all armor sets.
- Pure Darkness - the fire fades and only dark remains.
- Specialized Classes - so your starting class choice matters.
- Small mods.
