But author of Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k mod is often uses custom textures. At least he made it with textures of maps. Sometimes these custom textures better than original/PTDE, but sometimes they not match the spirit and vision of DSR devs, sometime these custom textures are non logic, f.e. ground in Undead burg, but it is on stone walls. But I don't know is he use custom textures for armor-shields (parts). This is the reason why I'm use your mod right now. Does you know anything about custom textures of armor-shields in 4k Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k mod?
Yes, I remembered it now the mod Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k includes not the original textures of armor mostly parts files, so it's not a problem if I leave my mod up and runnin because my mod contains the original textures as well, but fromsoftserve mods also includes now some very good quality armor textures and also some well detailed new normal map too, so i guess the best way to mod DSR is to download my mod if you want the original armor textures (enhanced) than download Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k mod with or without the armor sets included (if you want the customized parts files as well) than download and apply the Dark Souls Re-Remastered Mod lastly. (and happy new year to you too)
Yes it's fully compatible with the Dark Souls Remastered - improved and custom textures 4k mod. Personally i have this mod and mine on my Dark Souls and its works perfectly.
Hello, UnclWish, yeah what's you are saying is true mostly, the other Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k is better choice now, i use myself too, my mod is older than that mod mostly the first attemt to that 2022-2024 DSR enhancement 'era', but yeah i recommend to use Dark Souls Remastered-improved and custom textures 4k this mod now, and yeah that' all for now, im glad to everyone that's cared about the community all the moders that create great mods because of the passion, I'm keeping this mod alive because I don't think it's a problem at all if it stays up, and also I recommend to useDark Souls Re-Remastered Mod because it's a very good mod atleast the greatest DSR mod out there.
When I try to extract the .zip folder it says that the file is corrupted (2Kv1.6.1 version, haven't tried the 4K one because I'll not be using it due to its massive file size)
Hello IX2473, likely this is a local issue, probably with the Internet, usually gets corrupted when the file (.zip) is not properly downloaded from the Internet.
I tried to unzip it through terminal and it ended saying that the file is corrupted. It's the 4th time I'm downloading it... I'll try an older version, because I don't wanna download the 10Gb file.
Still greatly enjoying this mod and the improved texture quality that should have been there from the beginning with this supposed remaster and appreciate the work you've put into this.
I hope I don't sound like an asshole by saying this but I was using a certain mod to fix some minor rigging bugs for a couple things (this) and was wondering if it'd be possible to merge the fixes from that into this or if there's some guide on how to do it myself since your mod has become something I always make sure I have installed but once I noticed those little things it bugs me when I encounter them myself.

Minor thing I noticed when going in to edit my newest character's face while using this mod was this odd outline around the face creating a mask-like effect, everything else looks and works great but I figured I'd share this in case to bring attention to it. Apologies if this was already known or just something that is wrong on my end.

Hello jjjjkkkkjj, i recently launched up a newly installed Dark Souls Remastered and I applied the (AAWSE_v1.6) mod and i don't noticed any problem with the Fang Boar Helm, so propably it's a end device issue:
christianware -- Thank you very much for your opinion, yeah many errors have been fixed, the mod is now quite stable, and there is a good news, that AAWSE is now available in 2k version, so for 1080p resolution is a good choice to have the 2k version.
Hello, T1arn, I saw the pictures and yeah the chain mail looks black because the mod 1.4 is use some modified textures, higher detailed and when i work with this textures this one texture became darker, unfurtionatly, thanks for your comment i'll noticed it and patch these textures.

So does this mean I shouldn't put the 'parts' folder in the 'Texture Overrirde' folder for TPUP, and instead I should replace the 'parts' folder in the base game directory?
