Coming over from the DS3 nexus mod page, I noticed that there aren't many reshade presets that suit my liking so I went ahead to make my own simple reshade preset, hope you guys like it, I'm using it in my current playthrough so screenshots are limited to early game areas, will probably upload more later.
Features: >Tonemap (more uniform colour with changes to saturation, contrast etc) >Vibrance (more colour) >MXAO (Screen space ambient occlusion) >DPX (better colour grading) >Bloom (the most important imo, makes brightly lit things pop more, really makes a huge difference in almost any scene in the game)
Installation 1. Download the latest version of reshade from https://reshade.me/ 2. Select Dark Souls Remastered (find the .exe file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dark souls remastered) 3. Select Direct X 3D 10/11/12 4. You will be asked to select different shaders to install, uncheck all except for Quint and Pirate shader packs, let reshade install the packs 5. Download the zip file and extract the contents to your game folder 6. Enjoy! 7. Actually not yet, go in-game, press home to bring up reshade menu, load the Simple Souls.ini preset in the drop-down bar at the top left corner 8. Set brightness to 9 in-game 9. Enjoy!
Graphics Mods used in the screenshots: (highly recommend) Silver UI DSR 2020 Textures
DISCLAIMER: I'm no expert on using reshade, I just like to mess about with it here and there for fun
