this mod is entertaining to say the least, enemies clumping up makes it easier farming for items and soft humanities, however the hardcore version is where things go over the top- i wouldn't recommend it really. it's fun and challenging in the beginning, but areas such as catacombs, tomb of giants and the painted world will get you killed over and over again. it gets almost impossible to engage any fight without getting your HP deleted almost instantly, i wish you at least doubled or tripled the amount of souls you get from each kill it would feel more balanced and less like artificial difficulty. in any case, thank you for this mod, it's nice when the game forces you to use your brain a little bit more in order to pull trough some hard spots
I don't think anyone outside of From Software really knows exactly what the game's anti-cheat checks for, but I would assume any mod that makes changes to the param or event files are very likely to trigger it.
You can't just delete files from the mod to get just that feature. Enabling gravelord phantoms is done through the MSB files, which are also used for other things in this mod. Using just the MSB files from this mod and not the other files will cause big issues with the game.
Dziggy, thank you! I started with the Sight & Sense (HC), and got my butt handed to me. I loved it, but after hours and hours of being too bad to get out of the Burg, I backed it down a bit to just Sight (HC). Better, and still loving it, but still not gud enough. So now I'm on Sight only, and it's enough that I'm encountering mobs in unexpected places, which makes it so refreshing. I love it!
Like others have said, I'd love the option to turn on just gravelord phantoms and the Sight Aggro Only effects.
Thank you for this mod! Any updates on the version you mentioned last year that you were working on? It seems that nobody has made a mod yet that is JUST perma-gravelord with no other modifiers.
I'd love that too, that would be a perfect mod for players who seek greater challenges without changing game too much. I already love it as it is, but aggro in open wide areas like forests take all fun out of it. It makes me sad that author abandoned it...
The moment I stepped in dark root garden was like I opened gate of HELL itself XD Nice mod, in some situations it actually makes game easier when all enemies aggro at you at that distance, like skeletons in catacombs for example. I'd personally be thrilled if there was version in which you have hardcore - sight only, but dinstance reduced somewhere between default and this mod. In that way it would be more challenging, forcing you to actually explore at risk being ambushed instead moving trough the battlefield surrounded by snipers. I still think it's a great and nearly flawless mod, I hope you'll take this idea in consideration, as a friendly criticism. Praise the Sun!

Hello! Thanks for a mod! I'm using yours NpcParams without msb. When I'm near Firelink campfire mobs (on the way to Undead Parish) detect me. Is that caused by .msb? Otherwise, can you add option to adjust it or make some configurations? By the way did you make it using Wulf's ParamEdit?
