I'm getting the following error when trying to install Soulstrcut (after clicking "Yes" to the "import files" prompt):
"Fatal internal error encountered (see log for full traceback) shift_jis_2004 codec can't decode byte 0x80 in position 0: illegal multibyte sequence Aborting startup"
not only did nexus mark this as a virus, but windows did as well. the old version did not do this and still does not. i aint saying there is a virus, but like just be straight g. is there a virus?
if I were to guess I'm assuming its a false-positive? it most likely has to do with how it changes files that its marked as a virus, and also with it being a packaged python executable
Is it possible to unpack Elden Ring's files with Soulstruct? I'm assuming so because the soulstruct_config file mentions Elden Ring, but on start up it only allows me to choose between the Bloodborne and the two variants of Dark Souls 1. I'm looking to load up Elden Ring's map files in DS Map Studio, which I've already seen done by others, I just don't know if they unpacked the game using this or some other program.
Hey Grim! Love the tool An inquiry Im currently working with custom maps (m10_03 for example) Is there a way I can get Soulstruct to read the data I'm creating for those maps? I have the feeling it's being imported somehow but I cannot view it. If I there's a way to manually add maps to the list, let me know Cheers!
So say I wanted to modify certain aspects of the Age of Sunlight mod for personal use? How do I even go about that? I tried following the video you made about modding Dks, but when I set my modded Dark Souls install with Age of Sunlight, it just would not work. It works when I use a vanilla install but I'm not trying to mod vanilla.
If anybody is coming here wondering why it's getting marked as a virus and want to know his response he mentions it in his tutorial on his youtube you can find with the same name (Episode 3). If you are having trouble downloading it from here you can go to his GitHub and download it there a little easier. Love the vids Grim.
