An AutoHotKey mod that enables rolling when pressing the roll button, rather than when releasing it.

Dark Souls 3's rolls normally work only when releasing the roll button, which makes some sense given that it shares a gamepad button with dash, but Keyboard+Mouse setups have enough control flexibility to allow for a dedicated roll function separate from dashing. This AutoHotKey script lets you set a button to roll when pressing it, rather than when releasing it.
As well as the key/mouse button used for rolling on button press, I recommend also setting another key/mouse button to dash/backstep/roll, to be used as a dedicated dash. The script defaults to a side mouse button for roll-on-press, but that can be changed in the included .ini file. Correct names for keys can be found https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Send.htm">here.
NB: As of version b0.906, E.M.U. has incorporated this AHK script, so that's probably a better option for people wanting to roll on keypress.
