Goes through each map and manually removes grass, some ground clutter, and unneeded objects in the environment like extra tombstones, some trees, etc, while also disabling shadowcasting on objects, and deleting pointlights.

The goal is to optimize performance for handheld PCs and lower spec pcs. I'm also trying to do this in a really tasteful way so it doesn't appear super obvious that the environment has been totally scrapped or looks unrecognizeable. The intent is to retain the look of the OG game, but just be more performant.

A good example is the first area I'm releasing: untended graves/firelink shrine
It's an area that had hundreds and hundreds of tombstones placed everywhere. So I went by hand, 1 by 1, and pruned extra ones to reduce the number of tombstones by half at least, but I've done it thoughfully to still make it look natural (the goal, at least!).

Installation:
download ModEngine2
drop the "map" folder from this mod into the "Mod" folder inside the "ModEngine2" folder. Launch the game using launchmod_darksouls3.bat
that's it!

Lemme know in the posts how performance in untended graves/firelink is with this mod versus by default. Works with any in game graphics settings, but presumably you could turn down shadow quality since the game will be relying on baked shadows for almost all shadowing. The player and enemy shadows will rely on the dynamic shadow quality in the settings, so change that as you will.
