Dark Souls 3

Any mention of ''locked on + backwards'' here means that you must be locked on to a target and have the backwards movement key pressed. Your character does not have to be moving backwards for this to work: you can be recovering from an attack animation and holding the key, and it will work regardless.

KUSABIMARU
- Cannot be two-handed (for technical reasons).
- Any of Kusabimaru's R1 attacks can be held down to be charged into a thrust.
- Kicks that land will let you do a backflip with i-frames that combos directly into a running R1.
- Pressing R1 after using a Prosthetic Tool will initiate a follow-up attack.

USURPER'S MIRRORBLADE
- Cannot be two-handed (for technical reasons)
- Any of the Mirrorblade's R1 attacks can be held down to be charged into a thrust, or a stronger slash depending on the attack.
- Kicks that land will let you do a backflip with i-frames that combos directly into a running R1.
- Pressing R1 after using a Prosthetic Tool will initiate a follow-up attack.
- The Mirrorblade's smoke bomb Weapon Art combos directly into a running R1.

KUMOGIRI AND ASHINA GREATBOW
- All two-handed L1s shoot an arrow at small durability cost.
- Neutral bow shots (not running, rolling, backstepping, or locked on + holding backwards) can be charged by holding L1.
- While locked on, holding backwards + tapping L1 will fire the bow with a retreating quick shot.
- While backstepping, L1 will let you jump and rapidfire four arrows while airborne.
- Any L1 bow shot can be followed up with either an R1 for a close-ranged slash attack, or an R2 for a gap-closing attack.
- When two-handed, L2 can execute three different lightning attacks:
- Neutral L2 will result in a jumping lightning slam.
- Running/backstep L2 will result in a leaping lightning thrust.
- Locked on + backwards + L2 will backstep and fire a lightning arrow from the bow.

BLADES OF CONQUEST
- Pressing the 1h/2h weapon input during attacks will execute a transform attack.
- Two-handed running and rolling L1s shoot the Sword Saint's ornate handgonne.
- When two-handed, L2 can execute three different lightning attacks:
- Neutral L2 will result in a spear butt stomp that creates a Lightning Storm where it lands.
- Running/backstep L2 will result in a leaping lightning thrust.
- Locked on + backwards + L2 will result in a backstep paired with a sweeping lightning swing.

PHANTOM KUNAI
- When two-handed, all L1s perform kick attacks.
- Pressing L2 while rolling, running, or in a normal attack animation will perform a retreating kunai throw and instantly put you into stance (this works just like the Aquamarine Dagger, for those familiar with it.). Holding L2 after this will make any R1/R2 attack a stance attack.

NIGHTJAR SICKLE
- Pressing L2 while rolling, running, or in a normal attack animation will perform a sickle twirl attack and instantly put you into stance (this works just like the Aquamarine Dagger, for those familiar with it.). Holding L2 after this will make any R1/R2 attack a stance attack.

MALCONTENT'S BLADE
- Pressing the 1h/2h weapon input during attacks will execute a transform attack.
- All two-handed L1s attack using the offhand claw.
- Neutral claw attacks can be charged by holding L1.
- The rolling L1 attack is a strong gap closer attack and a very strong guardbreak attack.

SNAKE EYES HANDGONNE
- Two-handed L1s load the gun's barrel. Subsequent L1s will fire a powerful shot. Can also be used while rolling and running, but requires a reload after every shot.
- The Weapon Art's R2 follow-up will instantly load the barrel.

KAMAITACHI GLAIVE
- Two-handed L1 (requires holding) will enter a devastating stance where you continuously twirl the blade. This gradually consumes durability.

TALON OF HATRED
- If you have a Talon of Hatred equipped in both hands and are under the effects of the Vestige of Hatred, L1 attacks will dual wield both Talons.
- This also changes the Talon's Weapon Art to a far more powerful one.

BLADE OF THE LORDS
- Cannot be two-handed, but instead changes forms when pressing the two-hand button.
- Changing forms works by pressing a button before the transformation sound (the CLANG) is heard.
- R1 turns the weapon to Greatsword form.
- R2 turns the weapon to Curved Sword form.
- L1 turns the weapon to Lance form.
- L2 turns the weapon to Ultra Greatsword form.
- no input turns the weapon to Catalyst form.
- Each weapon form has its own Weapon Art.
- The Catalyst form's Weapon Art trades HP for FP while held.
- Curved Sword form's kick is also the signature retreating slash most light Curved Swords have.
- Lance form can also be used to thrust from behind a shield like most spears.

VESTIGE OF HATRED
- Like Dragon Form, can be cured by simply dying.
- If you have a Talon of Hatred equipped in both hands and are under the effects of the Vestige of Hatred, L1 attacks will dual wield both Talons.
- This also changes the Talon's Weapon Art to a far more powerful one.
- Changes the R2s/heavy attacks of the Demon's Fist, Demon's Greataxe and Old King's Hammer. All now have an additional effect if fully charged.
- Changes the Demon Scar's Spin Slash R2 follow-up attack.
- While active, activates the Demonhide Garb's pyromancy boost if you're wearing it.

WATERS OF THE DEEP
- Effect stays even after you die.
- Adds Luck scaling to bare fist attacks, and even more Luck scaling if they're two-handed (which is only possible if you're under the Waters' effect.)
- Restores 10% of your max health and 10 FP after landing several hits in short succession.
- The amount of hits needed scales with your weapon type and strength of the attacks used.
- Changes your bare fist moveset to a more aggressive and powerful one.
- Greatly reduces your fire damage absorption.
- Prevents use of Estus, Ashen Estus, Divine Blessing, Green Blossoms, and basically any edible consumables except for Purple Moss.
- Both kinds of Purple Moss can be consumed to cure the effect.
- Starting item of the Afflicted class, to provide an alternative playstyle from the very start.
