I have decided to remove the parts of this mod that attempted to negate the effects of hollowing. The No Hollowing mod accomplishes this in a much better way. This mod is now only for removing the visual effects on equipment.

I know this is late but I cannot get this mode to work at all I've tried following the directions, but I died and am still hollow. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using some mod like "Modern Roll Stamina and Agility" which is run with modengine.ini & replace "enc_regulation.bnd.dcx". Then this mod will not work.

Can you please make a compatible version for Seeker of Fire mod, only variant A is required.

I'm unable to edit the enc_regulation.bnd.dcx from your files, no version of yapped is opening it.

    -------------------------------------------------
Edit: Managed to do it by myself using Yabber. This is how I did it:

The Param files of this mod can simply be copied to Seeker of Fire mods param folder : ItemLotParam2_Chr.param, ItemLotParam2_Other.param

For the enc_regulation.bnd.dcx you will need to use Yabber and extract the enc_regulation file of this mod and copy the: SpEffectActiveItem.emevd, SpEffectRing.emevd, SpEffectWideUse.emevd SpEffectArmor.emevd, SpEffectRing.emevd, SpEffectWeapon.emevd

Then extract the enc_regulation file of the Seeker of fire mod and paste the above 5 emevd files to replace the previous ones, after that just re-pack them to DCX file and use that file in your SeekersofFire folder.

Please see this video on how to use Yabber to extract and repack the files, and please follow the steps above to make this work for you.
Dark Souls PTDE Modding - Using Yabber Instead of DSFix's TextureOverride

    ---------------------------------------------------
Edit 2: Made a Mod that won't break the Soul Protection Ring(Will keep your human appearance after death) with a compatible file for Seeker of Fire, Player Enhancement and Alway Human and No Visual effect variant A Compatible mod - Recover Souls Immediately (Ring of Soul Protection won't BREAK - Always Human

I know your post is from over a year ago, but I just wanted to say thank you, it helped me make this mod and seeker of fire work together.

Just a heads-up, overriding the SpEffectRing file removes the Seeker of Fire feature which gives you ADP for each ring you wear.

I was hoping to use the always human version without equipment effects but i dont want to ring of death replaced due to trying to do a perfect run. Is that possible to do? Do I just not install both params?

something in this mod causes temporary visual effects to not vanish, now of course i would never complain about something like this, having a weapon permantly on fire or having the neat aura of troches always on is def some desirable (in fact i wish there was a mod for ds2 that allows you to apply visual effects like that to your character/weapons at will) so yeah, great mod and great side effect!

Sorry, but this was fixed in the version 1.1.0 mod update. It was an unintentional bug caused by there not being tools that were capable of properly decompiling and recompiling the enc_regulation.bnd.dcx file at the time I created this mod. It wasn't until very recently that tools were created to handle this file correctly.

If you're going to continue using the old version of the mod just be aware that there may be other bugs caused by that file not being recompiled correctly, and not just visual bugs.

Loving the mod so far, although I realized that you do stay human when you die but technically the game still counts you as hollow so you have to use a humanity if you wanna actually be human and I was wondering if there could be a way to remove the stamina regen effect from shields too
