I would like to port this mod to work with iGP11, would that be all right? I would link back to this page, credit you by name, all that good stuff. Not planning on doing so very soon - as you can see on my profile, I have not uploaded any mods myself yet.
So after a bit of messing around I managed to get this mod to work, however, I'm no longer able to alt tab my game without it crashing. Any idea how this could be fixed? This is for the clean chaos blade by the way.
Sounds like a problem with gedosato, there's no way this mod would cause a crash. I know this because i alt-tab out of my game about 50,000 times while making my mods.
Some of my textures are just not showing. I did have this bizarre filter effect for a while (forgot when I installed it), could that be interfering with the textures?
I have no idea... But i would suggest you ask for help in the forums, please. I am not able to troubleshoot your problems remotely and there is far more of a likelihood that someone there can help you figure it out.
That said, my one bit of advice is to check all your gedosato texture paths and make sure they are correct. 9 times out of 10 people have things installed to incorrect directories.
Woohoo! New DS2 DLC is coming in April 2015! It's called "Scholar of the First Sin".
Maybe that big book in Majula is linked to it somehow? Anyway, this is good news... Well, it will be 5 months from now! Oh well, i have 4-5 months to add more stuff for the newbies.
"The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Dark Souls 2 feature updated graphics as well as new game content, including "an expanded story featuring additional in-game events and NPC character along with new deadlier enemies and gameplay improvements."
"Those improvements will also be available for the PC release of Scholar of the First Sin, which takes advantage of DirectX 11 for Windows."
DX11... I wonder if that means they are tinkering with the lighting? Good news all around if you ask me.
The consensus on Reddit (yes, I know...) right now is that PC players who already own the game will get the Scholar of the first Sin DLC for free, including the new NPCs and all that.
But the actual DX11 version will be a different thing entirely and will most likely have to be purchased again. If you don't buy the DX11 version you'd miss out on DirectX11 (obviously) and 6 people multiplayer functionality. Also, both versions will supposedly have seperate online environments.
The new version is listed for ~50$ and will include all DLC for the game as well. I hope owners of Dark Souls 2 get a discount to "upgrade" to the new version.
Well that's f'n annoying. I already bought the goddamned thing twice on 360 and PC. So wtf... Luckily i could give a crap about PvP. I just want to know what the DX11 upgrades will be. And you say it's gonna be another 50 dollars? Christ, what a joke.
The only thing i can get excited about is the potential uptick in traffic it will generate around here.
P.S. I got about a third of the way down on that reddit thread... It then overwhelmed me...
well its probably even to soon to think even anything, it will only be in next year. I only dream they remove SM(this would be a good reason why they will seperate servers)

I am releasing the new and improved Knight Set later tonight. Please hold back your excitement!

Here's the PS4 announce trailer
Lol, you can also get a laugh from all the Sony fanboys who seem to think it's only going to the PS4. F*cking idiots.
