Worth mentioning that a few other effects are changed, such as the effect for when Gower's Ring of Protection breaks and particle effects in various places, such as when the platforms in the Dragonrider boss room in Heide's Tower of Flame rises out of the ocean.
I am in the process of an update. I will be adding 2 new versions, a red on black and a black on red mist wall. Also I figured I didn't need to edit the second texture, i.e. the one that starts with a 9, so I will be fixing that as well to see if that fixes some of the issues with the new texture screwing with other things.
For the new versions, I will be only uploading them in 256px since that seems to be the most downloaded.
Also, if any one knows how I can make this a sticky on the comment page, please let me know. Thanks.
Edit: I just realized I'm an idiot and I was on the wrong page. Derp. lol
say is there a way to add ghosts? The fog is spreading out so I think you can add some. Of course of doesn't have to be ghosts but if its possible to do something like that then that would be great.
love the mod...but it got me thinking...what the f*#@ is the lore behind fog gates in dark souls 1 and 2 ? in demon souls i kinda understand...but in these 2 games is just a fucking mechanic they didn't bother to explain...
Lore wise they're probably a side effect of the "time is convoluted" stuff, thus every fog door is a portal to a different an instance in time. Gameplay wise the non-boss fog doors are for limiting PvP in one area, it would be pretty nuts if you could just run indefinitely from an invader.
It's the Souls' series equivalent of "Nanomachines, son!"
i understand the function YarHar and aareyn. i know what they do(gameplay wise)....and why they're needed...have you bothered to read the whole comment? what about suspension of disbelief? even in the videos for Project Beast the fog walls had little ghosts coming out of the wall.maybe there's an in-game explanation for that.im tired of hearing "time in convoluted" every time someone can't explain some s#*! in dark souls.earthen peak to iron keep.time is convoluted.word.
