I see this is an old thread, but is not working in Windows 10, any help? ERROR: Function Name: "CreateToolhelp32Snapshot(TH32CS_SNAPMODULE)"; errorcode:0x0000012b(129)
There is a second way to fix the lag without using a programmable mouse or game mod.
*Go into the menu *Go to 'Key Bindings' *In the first tab (mouse) turn 'disable double clicking' off *Fully exit the menus *Go back into the menu and turn it back on again. *This time, when you exit the menu you will have to accept a confirmation dialogue
That's it, the mouse will now work fine. The drawback to this method is you have to do it every time you load the game.
hello. Guys, both ds2 and ds3 began to act weird. When i slightly move mouse in lock-on, it just begins jumping around targets like crazy. This mod fixes it?
Don't know if I'll ever get an answer, but is it possible to disable the popup which tells you that ds2mouselagfix is running and can be toggled with f8? Because i wrote a short bat script to start ds2MouseLagFix.exe 20sec after DS2 but it'll get minimized because of the popup... Would be great if there was a way, but so far, really nice work!
DAMN. Didn't they fix the Mouse issues in Scholar of the First Sin? How many patches they need to fix the damn old issue. Maybe I should post them an code example, so they finally will have a fix?
Hmmm... very strange.... You sure you installed C++ runtime library for Visual Studio 2013? There are other versions of the runtime library (for Visual Studio 2010, 2008 etc). And yes, it is fully compatible with Windows 7, because I'm on WIndows 7 x64.
You need these DLLs (x86 versions): - MSVCR120.DLL - MSVCRT.DLL
Put them to the same directory with DS2MouseLagFix mod.
Yeah, I had 2013 installed beforehand, but I tried redownloading them from the address you included in the Readme. I have both of those DLLs in the folder but I get a 0xc000007b error. Before I added the dll files to the folder I had the msvcr120.dll error.
Edit: I repaired the libraries in the installer rather than reinstalling from scratch and now it is running fine. That was odd.
Woooaaaah Didn't expect someones are still using this mod. If I understood you correctly, you want to bind two different keys to WheelUp/Down commands? Sure, that's possible, but there is no optimal ways to detect if you're currently in game or in Menu screen, and everytime when you'll scroll up and down that will trigger both (bound) keys.
I mean, if you bound 'ARROW UP' (just as an example) key and 'ARROW DOWN' key to the Mouse Wheel UP command, then it will trigger ARROW UP and ARROW DOWN keys at the same time. If your Item Change key = ARROW UP and Menu Scroll up key = ARROW DOWN, then this should do the job for you.
I've found a workaround, no worries, I can't use your method cause I still need to switch spells. Either way, another idea has dawned in my head... Is it possible to jam in the option to bind something for guardbreak and/or jumping attack?
Sorry. If I'll add such option, then this mod will become a cheating tool, if you'll be able to do guardbreak/jumping attack with a single key press. Most players play on gamepad, and it is really hard to guardbreak with Stick UP + R1 button at 60 fps. KB+M players already have advantages before non KB+M users, because mouse aiming has much better accuracy than the stick. That's why I didn't add key combination options to the mod.

It's not that hard to guard break on the pad either, it's easier than on the PC... well until I bound it to Q anyway.
