What leggings are you using in your pictures please?
Iron Golem Leggings. They're not only very useful (even if you can't upgrade them) but I also found that they are a good visual match for some of the game's armors.
But what a pity, I wanted to use the Hollow Thief Hood, only to discover I don't have it! Does it only drop only from those Thief Assassin Dudes in lower Undead Burg?
Yes. As far as I know that is the only way of getting it.
However, the droprate shouldn't be too bad as I must've gotten it by accident and only realized it much, much later (when I received the request to modify its texture).
