This is 2048x2048 font replacer that uses the Kingthings Serifique (original style) font. The actual font:
http://www.dafont.com/kingthings-serifique.font
This is close to the original game font but more stylized and "medieval". This replacer is very crisp and bold, allowing easy reading. It replaces all the menu text and subtitles.
Installation Instructions:
1. Download DSfix version 1.2 or higher. 2. Open the DSfix.ini in the root Dark Souls folder and change "enableTextureOverride 0" to "enableTextureOverride 1". 3. Download my font replacer archive and extract it to "DarkSouls\dsfix\tex_override". Let it overwrite if you have another font mod installed.
Please leave a comment if you have a suggestion or font request. This mod should work perfectly as is, but I may tweak it slightly over time.
There is an optional subtitle .png with black outlines. It is optional since Durante is still working on getting texture filtering exactly right to avoid artifacts. If you wish to try it, move the .png from the "Subtitle Font with Black Outline" to the "tex_override" parent directory and let it overwrite.
