FROM lied to you, Dark Souls aren't nearly dark enough. Therefore, I present you with this mod that returns darkness to some of the areas in this game. Prepare your sunlight maggots as you will find yourselves lost in places that were otherwise familiar!
This mod changes the reflectivness of surfaces and light scattering in some areas, I also worked with colors and strength of light sources to make their presence more clear. It also includes SweetFX for better looks, it actually makes a half of presentability of the project, I discourage the use of my parameter edits without it.
To install you have to first unpack your game archives with UDSFM, after that just extract the contents of the archive into your game's DATA directory (if you already use SweetFX or ReShade, you can only extract the param folder).
If you want to use other d3d9 wrappers with this mod, for example PvP Watchdog, then rename it's d3d9.dll to something like d3d9_dspw.dll and in sweetFX_settings.txt at the end of the file change
I hope you like my vision of Dark Souls, but if you have something to say, critique, advises and suggestions are always welcome.
