Necro here but thank you so much for uploading this .fsb! I spent an hour or two yesterday playing with DSSI trying to achieve the same thing but couldn't get past 'failed to make dummy fsb file'. If I hadn't seen a link to this in the comments, I'd still be driving myself crazy with menu sounds I've started hearing when I'm not even playing the game... 😮
If this works (I have not tried it yet), then you are a god among men! I have always also thought that the damn UI/Menu sounds were way too loud, and annoying due to that.
If it is not too much trouble for you to do, I humbly request that you make a similar mod to this, but that just turns the UI/menu sound volumes down by a lot (basically, so they are a little less loud than all the other game sounds, which is how it should have been made by FromSoft to begin with!).
If I can get this installed correctly, I will use it in my DS1 YT livestrem today, and recommend this by name in my description and out-loud in my video. My livestreams are at https://gaming.youtube.com/user/thesimsdreamer/live.
