Description

This mod replaces the appearance of the "Crown of Dusk" with a metal headband (gold or iron) for both male and female.

Requirements

Requires the Dark Souls archive files be unpacked using UnpackDarkSoulsForModding.

Installation Instructions

1. Unpack your Dark Souls archive files using *UnpackDarkSoulsForModding* (make sure to use the latest version). Skip this setp, if you already unpacked the Dark Souls archive files with the tool.

2. Back up some files, which are required when you want de-install the Crown of Dusk Replacer (where "DATA\" is your Dark Souls data directory):
- DATA\menu\menu_4.tpf
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480_L.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480_M.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480_L.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480_M.partsbnd

3. Download the Crown of Dusk Replacer, and place the contents of the downloaded zip-archive file in DATA\, where DATA is your Dark Souls data directory. This will override the files you have backed up before.

4. Done

Removal instructions

1. Remove the folloowing files from your DATA\ directory and replace them with your backed up versions:
- DATA\menu\menu_4.tpf
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480_L.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_F_9480_M.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480_L.partsbnd
- DATA\parts\HD_M_9480_M.partsbnd
