I would love to see this mod in Remastered! But is there a possibility, that U can get banned for Using the mod ? (Perhaps I ll try to use it on my second account and will see, if I get banned)
*Checked it - U will NOT get banned for any visual mods in remastered (in Contrast to DS 2) so U may use every mod, that doesn't have any .exe or .dll file
YES! U can use those textures in Remastered too! BUT: U have to rename the files. 1) U download the File with DDS-textures (not PNG) 2) Than U have to rename every single shield , U want to use accordingly to this list: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/ghvuz2/complete_list_of_shield_textures_for_dsr_texture/ U have to rename the folders and also every single picture. Where U add to blackandwhite pictures "_s" and to the rose ones "_n". Example: WP_A_1501, WP_A_1501_n and WP_A_1501_s 3) And then U can integrate all those shields into Remastered with the "DSR Texture Packer and Unpacker" Works for me )
Holy crap. How have I not stumbled upon this mod until now? Incredible work! Easily one of the best mods on the nexus. I'm glad DS1 is still getting this amount of support on PC and would love to see a similar "renovation" of armor sets.
So,do I need to place all textures from inside the diiferent shield folders into the texture override folder,or can I just copy all the shields how you have packed them-each one in own folder?
The shields look awesome.Would there be any way to change the png files to dds files? Game likes dds more, and they are smaller.Since the game begins to struggle with 300mb of textures, and the essential hd texture packs already reach more than 200 mb,it isnt really possible to use this full mod, just parts of it.But I really would like to use everything
i think is because have too few players in ds comunity that enjoy mods, but i need to say this mod is fantastic the textures of all shields are perfect and with the higher quality i ever see in this game. my favourite is the tower and solaire shield.
So I downloaded the mods properly and placed them within the Texture Override folder, but it didn't apply the textures. Help, please? EDIT: I do have Texture Override enabled in the DSFix.ini. I'm using some other mods, but no shield mods that would conflict with these textures. NONE of the textures are working. 2nd EDIT: Nevermind, I was a bit too hasty to do these. I assumed the standalone .jpg images were the textures, alike some of the texture mods I have installed.
Hey can we get some comparison pics and maybe a lore friendly version that doesn't change original designs? It looks great, but I prefer better originals to new designs.
