Some of my files have been removed by Nexus staff, because their VirusTotal checks think they are malicious.

They are not, but Cheat Engine powered trainers often trigger antiviruses for nothing.

You can still use mirror links on main page to download them.

PS: my first comment about that has been deleted by some Nexus staff member without any notice. Why? Stop doing that, that is annoying...

I managed to get version 1.0 for the Remastered edition of this fix working under windows 11.

First, you need to go to "privacy.sexy" in your browser. Don't be scared by the fishy url-name. It is a Site that creates scripts to debloat Windows. Under "Privacy over Security" , check "Disable Windows Defender", download the script, and let it do its magic. Of course you should know what you're doing when you surf the webs and download stuff without Defender enabled. I am willing to take the risk though. You can easily revert the Script by using the "revert" function of privacy.sexy

After that, use the fix as it is described in its readme file.

Have fun if you dare. I am very happy about this fix. I couldn't enjoy Dark Souls without it, as I get extremely motionsick otherwise. So thank you Dr4Wm4N!

lol "my files arent malicious" but has 28 detections on virustotal, if it were clean software, it wouldnt have any detections, im not surprised nexus removed the files.

On Dark Souls Remastered, using 1.0 and it doesn't work. I closed the apps several times, not sure if an update did this or not but F1 and the rest do nothing :O

Original version (PTDE) crashes when I use the 1.1 version. I desperately want to go beyond 48 FOV but I can't make it work :(

Thanks for you mod, the exe is no problem and clean. Also for sharing the source table and the link to the giant CT table from TechnoJacker & JohrnaJohrna. :D

I write you, because I asked myself, when I think I have the data "8B 42 50 4C 8B C2 89" (there's only one in "DarkSoulsRemastered.exe") at offset 0x235306, which should be the FOV. Can't I just hex my desired value into it? I'm just not sure which to change, when 0.75 is default (75 = 4B in hex, but it doesn't seem to be that easy). I would like to have 90 degree as default and know how to edit the source CE table you shared, edit the value and make a new exe. But it would be way better to just change the value inside "DarkSoulsRemastered.exe", as there would be no need to run anything extra.

Could you help me here please to figure out which byte to modify?

It's not changing the FOV for me anymore. I enable it and the sounds are working, just no FOV increase. I've tried both 1.1 and 1.0 and restarting the mod several times.

Would like to know this as well, as of right now it seems broken.  Even if I disable app and virus protection completely, this FOV fix will not work for me in Windows 10.

I just started using DS FOV Fix for Remastered, and it works great with the exception of when I go into aimed mode with a bow or use the binoculars. When I switch to either a bow or the binoculars, I go into an over the shoulder view, my FOV goes into zoomed mode as expected, and then almost instantly gets snaped back to the FOV I set using FOV FIx. Also, I cannot use my d-pad to zoom in our out. I have to F1 out of FOV Fix to return my bow/binocular/zoom to normal. Clearly, when trying to use a bow or binocular, DS does what it is supposed to do with your FOV, and then FOV Fix is almost immediately snatching control over the FOV back from DS.

Would it be possible for FOV Fix to be made aware enough to return control over the FOV to DS while using a bow or the binoculars? If it makes any difference, I am playing DS Remastered with a 4:3 aspect ratio monitor and bumping up my FOV by four "clicks", which I believe works out to +20 degrees, or about a 90 degree FOV..

    Thanks for FOV Fix!
