You 2 tried with Tunngle maybe? Or another way to get the Steam64 number since your friend must have an Steam account he could associate Dark Souls as external "non-steam" game and if lucky the Steam64 id might show up in the mod.
I don't think so since Wulf mod requires something called Steam64 number to connect with an specific player. as much as I would love to since I'm aware at least 1/3 of the people who played this game on PC are pirates and they would really light up the online pvp I think it's impossible. I mean modding like this is already "illegal" per se but nobody cares because it's fun at this point Dark Souls has become a classic, like older games that are still played on Emulators and have NetPlay like Smash Bros Melee.
This version (best version) of Dark Souls 1 was removed from Steam too which is a shame.
