About this image

I swear, these textures on this game are amazing. Just the helmet alone has more quality than most games I've seen this year or even last year. This has been my wallpaper for a little bit now, so I thought I would share it for anyone interested.

Oops, sorry. For some reason, I thought Gonzalo had an nvidia card, so I gave him nvidia instructions for how to force anisotropic filtering. Edited to remove the incorrect instructions- but I'm not sure how to force AF with an amd card. It can definitely be done through your control panel, I just don't know what the specific options are.

You wouldn't believe the number of people who say the textures are bad. I always ask them "How much Anisotropic Filtering are you forcing in your drivers?" and they're always like, "Dude, what's Anasotrapic Filtering?"

Yeah, these textures are amazing. From's team has to be one of the best. Their work with normal maps especially is unbelievable. I stared at a wall for several minutes trying to decide if every brick was polygon'd.

I agree, truly amazing texture work. The people who say it's horrible and low res must either be trolling, or playing at a sub-720p resolution. One of the best looking games I own- and I own Battlefield 3, Metro 2033, Skyrim, etc. There's a reason it killed console frame rates, and it wasn't bad coding.
