About this mod
This mod compresses game video cutscenes, which in uncompressed form take up 10,78 gigabytes. Thanks to this mod, the Videos folder will be compressed 10 times smaller to 1,73 gigabytes. Also this mod solves the problem of playing video cutscenes on steam deck.

Videos were recoded into H.264 format with .wmv extension. When steam deck playing original videos, there is a rainbow frame, sometimes sound crackling, or all video cutscenes are skipped altogether. Now after using this mod, all videos playing as the should.
Compression ratio is 15% of the total size.
In general, the visual errors is not noticeable, but sometimes it is. I prefer maximum compression than huge bloated files. If you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a 11 gigabyte movies folder.
Installation:
Backup your videos folder in media/videos, in case you decide to revert back.
Unzip Darksiders Warmastered Edition. Recoded Videos.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
