This mod features:

1) ADVENTURE

A 5 levels campaign with a simple story line where the player has to complete quests and puzzles to progress.








2) ARENA

One survival level. The player fight waves of enemies and has to survive as
much rounds as possible. After 100 rounds the player can keep playing ad infinitum.
While progressing the player can gain Skill points and Arena Coins to unlock
more skills, weapon, items and other stuff he needs.
There is also a kill streak system that allows to get more coins based on
players skills and knowledge of game mechanics.



The player must survive for as much as possible. 

The player will get skillspoints and arena coins to buy items and skills.

Each round has randomly spawned enemies.

3) ITEMS WEAPONS SPELLS RE-BALANCE

The mod changes some weapons and spells to better balance the game and give
more freedom to players.

4) REWORKED SKILL-TREE

After re-balancing all the spells and weapons, it was necessary to change the
skill-tree to make the re-balance consistent.
The reworked Skill-tree allows to create different builds and combinations and gives more freedom to create hybrid classes.
Players can replay the original campaign with this different Skill-tree


// HOW TO INSTALL //

-Updated 10/02/2021

1. Extract the DMextendedModd.rar folder in "yoursteamfolder\steamapps\common\Dark Messiah Might and Magic Single Player\".
 - When asked to overwrite files say yes. The only file that should be overwritten is gameinfo.txt

After the extraction is complete you should have a folder named dmmod inside "\Dark Messiah Might and Magic Single Player\" folder and a modified version of gameinfo.txt that contains the line "Game dmmod" under SearchPaths.

2. Launch the game, and if you will see two additional buttons in the main menu the mod is installed correctly.

INSTALLATION with UNLIMITED EDITION MOD
If you have the unlimited edition mod installed:
1. Same as normal INSTALLATION
2. You can delete the extracted Gameinfo.txt.
3. Open Gameinfo.txt file located in "\common\Dark Messiah Might and Magic Single Player\mm\" and add the Game dmmod folder.

save the file and exit.

4. Launch the game, and if you will see two additional buttons in the main menu the mod is installed correctly.


There might be a string issue.
First be sure that Steam is in english. 
If you install the unlimited edition another string file is created located in custom/resource/closecaption_manifest.txt. Open in and copy the lines from the closecaption_manifest inside the dmmod folder  "load_file" "resource/mm_modstrings.txt"

Save and exit.

If you get an error about the cinematic while playing the normal campaign with the new rebalance, you need to copy all the files
from the media folder into dmmmod/media/ and relanuch the game


If you are not on steam

try to copy and paste all the files in "dmmod" except for gameinfo into your "mm" folder, but be sure to make a backup before since you are going to overwrite original files.


TO UNINSTALL
Just delete dmmod and the line "Game dmmod" inside gameinfo.txt .
