Sick of having to ditch your hero's trinket load-out for a cultist trinket? Suffer no more with Dark desires! A simple file-mod that removes the Dark Impulse requirement for Cultist trinkets
How this mod works is it modifies All the Cultist trinket files found in the Darkest Dungeon II_Data/StreamingAssets/Excel/trinkets_data_export And as such will not work with other mods that modify those files specifically.
---[How to install]--- simply open the .zip and drag and drop the folder into the /DarkestDungeonII folder, and click replace when the prompt appears.
Want the technical insight on how i did this? It's simple, within the Cultist trinket data files, there is a line that checks if the condition is met before the trinket "activates", by removing this line the trinket will automatically meet conditions to activate, instead of requiring Dark Impulse.
