In order to install this mod:
Step 1: Download, save and extract the zip file somewhere on your computer outside of Darkest Dungeon II's game files.
Step 2: Navigate to 'DarkestDungeonII > Darkest Dungeon II_Data > Streaming Assets > Excel > hero_jes_data_export.
Step 3: Select and ctrl+x the files named 'jes_finale.ActorDataSkill.csv' and jes_finale_u.ActorDataSkill.csv'. Paste them into the 'Vanilla_Finale folder.
Step 4: Select and ctrl+c the two jes_finale files that came with this mod and paste them into Darkest Dungeon II's 'hero_jes_data_export' folder.
NOTE: This mod is not compatible by default with other mods that change Jester's Finale. In order to allow compatibility, open the jes_finale files that came with this mod and copy the line that begins with 'target_buffs,'. Then navigate to and open the same file in the other Finale mod and paste that line underneath the one that starts with 'performer_buffs,'. Make sure that if the other mod already has a 'target_buffs,' line in the file that you instead paste just 'ignore_deaths_door,' onto the end of it ensuring that there are no spaces
This mod enables Jester's Finale to bypass deaths door. In practice this means that if you normally need to bring an enemy down to deaths door and then contend with it's deathblow resistance in order to kill it, that enemy will instead immediately die should Finale deal enough damage to bring them down to 0 HP or if they are already at deaths door.
