Silent Popups
Dirty hack to silence the frequent text popup bubbles
made for game version: Build 24839
installation:
. . 1. search for this file: ui_shared.bank
. . . . . . with Steam presumably here:
. . . . . . . . C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Darkest Dungeon\audio\secondary_banks\
. . 2. make a backup of this file.
. . 3. replace it with the one from this mod
. . done.
. . possibly has to be done again after game-updates . . .
what I did:
. . I filled the corresponding data-sections in this sound-pack with zeroes
. . (not the whole sections, just most of it - else crash)
. . filled with zeroes:
. . . . Offsets 5b200 to 6455e (Text-popup-sound)
. . . . Offsets 52a40 to 5361f (Text-ticker-sound)
about Steam:
. . I only have the GoG-version. If anyone would like to upload this to the Steam-workshop, please do so.
