About this mod
This is a simple mod that adds roughly 600 more dialogue lines, ranging from critical hit lines from all characters to more responses and lines from several stress reactions. Some dialogues were changed.
- Permissions and credits
Can't get more specific than this; I just added 600 850 new dialogue lines to the current ~5k ones.
All dialogue lines were made with the intent to preserve the Vanilla's feeling of the game, and the ones removed were the ones deemed by me to be anticlimatic ('...' lines from the Bounty Hunter, the 'sayeth' things from the Crusader or lines such as '(breathes intensely)' stuff).
The biggest change to vanilla dialogues are in the Jester. He occasionally breaks the fourth wall when afflicted by Irrational, and has one or two lines that do it as well outside of it. This is hardly immersion-breaking due to him being what he is... a Jester. And only happens when he is, you can say, under too much pressure. So I think it's a cool change, and makes sense inside the game.
Most of the additional dialogues are in the dialogues that happen the most. You'll see more dialogues in things like critical hits, death's door interactions, bleed/blight DoT's, and others.
INSTALLING
1. Open the .zip file and extract it to this folder: \Steam\SteamApps\common\DarkestDungeon\localization
2. Replace the vanilla file with the downloaded one.
UNINSTALLING
1. Backup your vanilla file before installing if you want to uninstall it later on. If you didn't, verify the game cache with Steam.
