A deceitful creature hidden beneath a veil of beauty, the Lamia has two very distinct forms. As a human, she acts as a healer, providing much needed stress relief, curing bleeds and blights, and marking enemy targets. However, to maintain her appearance, the Lamia cannot inflict any harm.

I've helped balance Darkest Dungeon for Color of Madness' release and strive to create high quality mods that feel as if they belong in the base game. Class Introduction
A deceitful creature hidden beneath a veil of beauty, the Lamia has two very distinct forms. As a human, she acts as a healer, providing much needed stress relief, curing bleeds and blights, and marking enemy targets. However, to maintain her appearance, the Lamia cannot inflict any harm.
In times of desperation, the Lamia can reveal her true form, replacing her supportive abilities with attacks of unmatched versatility and effectiveness. Unfortunately the hideous appearance of the Lamia can inflict massive stress to her party and such is her nature that as she attacks, she may disrupt her own party's formation.
Regardless of the form she takes, the Lamia is very fragile, relying on either her speed in beast form or her allies in human form to survive. Without the proper protection, the Lamia can easily be rendered useless or, in the worst case, dead.

Special Notes
The Lamia will suffer stress at the start of each of her rounds that she begins in Beast Form, similar to the Abomination.
If she becomes Afflicted in Beast Form, she will revert to Human Form. Take caution!
Unlike the Abomination's Transform, The Veil has no Per Battle Use limit. However, be aware of the damage you are doing to your own team if you shift between the Lamia's two forms multiple times!

Installation
To install any of the files for the Lamia, unzip the downloaded files and drag the entirety of the folder into the mods folder in your DarkestDungeon game folder(usually found at C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\).
After this, the mod will appear in the Mods List in the start menu. The Mods List is accessible via a little blue hammer next to each save file. Click the little check mark and the mod will be enabled for that save file.
After this, you should be good to go!

Human Combat Skills
- The Veil: Does not end turn. Usable in any Rank. Transform into Beast Form. Gain a massive buff to DODGE and SPD. Cause Horror to entire team.
- Cleansing Tide: Usable in Rank 3 and 4. Targets any single ally target. Low-moderate Heal that cures Bleed and Blight.
- Arietta: Usable in Rank 3 and 4. Targets any single ally target(cannot target self). Heal a low-moderate amount of Stress with a chance to clear Horror from self and target. Also applies a Stress Heal Received buff to both yourself and the target ally.
- Allure: Usable in Rank 3 and 4. Targets any single enemy rank. Can bypass and break Guard. Pull 1 and apply a DODGE Debuff. All attacks against the target also have an increased CRIT chance for the next 3 rounds.
Beast Combat Skills
- The Veil: Does not end turn. Usable in any Rank. Transform into Human Form. Suffer a debuff to SPD and DODGE. Heal a small amount of Stress from entire party.
- Slither: Usable in Ranks 2, 3, or 4. Targets any single enemy rank. Move Forward 3. Deals a moderate-large amount of DMG. Deals Bonus DMG vs. Blighted and Stunned Targets. This Bonus stacks with itself if the target is both Blighted AND Stunned. Buffs self DODGE significantly.
- Hiss: Usable in Ranks 1, 2, or 3. Targets Enemy Ranks 1 AND 2. Move Back 3. Small DMG with Heavy Blight and PROT debuff.
- Petrifying Gaze: Usable in any Rank. Targets Enemy Ranks 1, 2, AND 3. Shuffle self. Small DMG with moderate chance to Stun and apply a heavy DODGE and SPD debuff. 3 Uses Per Battle.
Camping Skills
- Immodest Vanity: Heal large amount of stress from self and apply some stress to entire party.
- Lamprey's Kiss: Cure Blight and a Disease from target ally but apply stress to them.
- Soothing Presence: Other allies heal stress and gain a Stress Resist buff.
- Stalk Prey: Reduces chance that party is surprised by a small amount while buffing chance to surprise enemies by a large amount.
