Hey everyone!
I always thought that it was silly that when you upgraded your weapons and armor they still looked the same. Well, here is a skin pack that makes them look more like the upgrades in the game.
I will work on these and I will hopefully eventually have all the different combinations done, but that will take some time. In the meantime tho, here is what I have already done:
Included in the mod currently
Crusader Skins Pack
- Battered Longsword Skin
- Longsword Skin
- Questing Longsword Skin
- Greatsword Skin
- The Long Crusade Skin
(Also has a modified/improved look for the scroll attack)
Leper Skins Pack
- Rusted Executioner's Sword Skin
- Reforged Chestplate / Rusted Executioner's Sword Skin
- Reforged Chestplate / Sharpened Executioner's Sword Skin
Highwayman skins Pack
- Flintlock, Rusty Blade Skin
Installation
Download the file you want, for example the "Crusaders Skin Pack" and UnZip it's content to the corresponding folder, which in this case would be the Crusader hero folder.
Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DarkestDungeon\heroes\crusader"
If you already have additional character skins, make sure you don't have ones using the same letter. If you do, just change the letter at the end to something that is not already in use.
This is my first mod ever and it is far from perfection, so feel free to leave feedback and tips on how to improve the mod. :D
(I have not field tested all of the skins properly yet, so if you run into any weird pixels or anything like that on the skins, send a comment or start a discussion topic and I will try to fix it as soon as possible.)
