This is a very simple mod that I had been wanting to do for a long time, and finally gained the know how to do. In the vanilla game we get mirrored images of the skeleton with the stress symbol on either side of the bottom menu. This to me felt like a missed opportunity, and much in the manner of games like Diablo that showed Angels and Demons both re[resented in the menu, I felt the same would be appropriate for this game.
Thus I realized that the Skeleton already represented Affliction, so its opposite would be a new illustration symbolizing Virtue. This is also another way to reduce asset recycling in the game, which has been a consistent goal across my mods. Ultimately I aim to make mods that felt as if they shipped with the game.
Installation. Can be loaded low in the load order as it only tweaks vanilla assets.
Compatibility. Compatible with everything EXCEPT mods that alter this menu. This includes mods that add more inventory slots.
Patches Since I use Yet Another Inventory Expansion, a patch for it is included. Let my mod and then it's patch override it. Load order:
Virtue and Affliction YAIE patch
Virtue and Affliction (main file)
Yet Another Inventory Expansion
I do plan to make patches for other popular inventory increase mods and mods that affect this menu, feel free to request patches in comments section.
