I made a lot of modifications to the attributes and skills of the heroes in order to balance somewhat the progress of the game; make it a little more difficult at the beginning and a little easier at the end.

(and sorry for my english, hope all understand :P)

I made a lot of modifications to the attributes and skills of the heroes in order to balance somewhat the progress of the game; make it a little more difficult at the beginning and a little easier at the end.

The changes are not too big... just enough to make the game a little better (IMO of course).


I describe some of them:

- All heroes earn a little PROT % with the armor upgrades (depend of hero class).
- The CRIT % has been changed and now takes more account of the hero and skill type; by default are lower.
- Attacks with edged weapons have a small % to cause bleeding, and attacks with blunt weapons to cause stun (about 50%).
- All healing abilities are a little better, and almost all have a little % to cure stress.
- Most skills have a bigger improvement according to their level upgrades. Improvements on damage, launch positions, target position...



Some general notes about my vision of the kinds of heroes and some changes I made in the skills considering it:

Abomination
No remarkable changes. Small variations in the parameters of their skills.

Antiquarian
She's a coward! She prefers to stay behind her allies and her skills are mostly supportive. Her normal stab attack now does less damage but reduces the speed of her target.

Arbalest
Now is more important that the enemies are marked for her to do an acceptable damage. Her support skills have improved.

Bounty Hunter
No remarkable changes. Small variations in the parameters of their skills.

Crusader
Now the crusader is an authentic "Unholy killer". Their healing abilities are better too.

Grave Robber
No remarkable changes. Small variations in the parameters of their skills.

Hellion
No remarkable changes. Most of their attacks cause bleeding. Is a bleeding lover.

Highwayman
No remarkable changes. Small variations in the parameters of their skills.

Hound Master
His healing ability can cause blight (it's a dog lick! xD). The ability to heal stress may not like to all allies and has a small % to cause the opposite effect.

Jester
Reduced damage and increased critical. His ability "harvest" now almost does not damage, but is a machine to cause bleeding to all enemies.

Leper
As indicated in his game description, its accuracy is quite low and now its more necessary to use their ability "revenge" to increase it before attack. His two healing/support skills have changed; one health hp/stress and the other adds PROT and several buffs.

Man-at-Arms
His ability to "defend" now it causes a reduction of dodge and damage, but increases resistance to stun and movement.

Occultist
Most of their skills have improved, but reduce the amount of light! Beware of his demonic pacts ;)

Plague Doctor
No remarkable changes. Small variations in the parameters of their skills.

Vestal
Better healing abilities, and worse combat capacity.



I also have been modified inventory stack sizes and value of certain objects. The shovels are more expensive and you can only carry 3 in a space, torches need more space too and can carry only 5 in a space. Other support items, jewelry and money have a larger stack size.


For install it, only download de zip and copy the folders ("heroes", "inventory", "scripts" and "shared") in the "Darkest Dungeon" directory. Make a backup of this content before apply mod if you want to restore after test it!
