Walking into a dungeon and being ambushed in the first hallway by the Fanatic, being surprised, and immediately losing your level 6 hero is not a fun risk to have to take 75% of the time. Unless, of course, you're just asking for it.
If you don't like seeing the Fanatic so often and think it's too high, this mod is for you.
The Fanatic is a good way to "check" players that are using the Crimson Curse to power cheese their way through the game - but even that is stretching his level of sheer difficulty. Instead of trying to rebalance the difficulty of the Fanatic, this mod just aims to make it a less likely occurrence when you have fewer heroes with the curse in your party. Which is to say, the risk is still there, and it's up to you if you want to take it.
Medium Infestation - Reduced to 10% chance to appear if 2/3 heroes with the disease
Medium Infestation - Reduced to 35% chance to appear if all 4 heroes with the disease
Medium Infestation - Reduced to 10% chance to appear if 2/3 heroes with the disease
Medium Infestation - Reduced to 75% chance to appear if all 4 heroes with the disease
That is all this mod changes, so be sure to check for conflicts from other Fanatic spawn rate mods you might have installed before installing this one.
