    Could you make it so if there was something like Armour or weapons in the chest it will decrease its quality if you break it open, or maybe make it so it gives you worse loot? I just think it would be more rewarding to upgrade your lock-picking skill then apposed to just smashing everything open and getting the same reward for it.

      That is the idea in the end yes. This is just a showcase of the bare-basic interaction stuff working, have not done anything yet involving the loot generation and what happens when a chest is opened in a specific way and such.
