NOTE: THIS MOD HAS SPECIAL INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS!!

There are multiple mods for the TES2 main quest that are all incompatible with each other, since they require line-by-line manual editing. Specifically:

1. No Rush Main Quest
2. Optional Main Quest
3. Main Quest Identifier
4. Main Quest at Level 1

This mod combines the effects of all four above mods into one, as well as removing all reputation requirements with the main questgivers.

Main Quest Identifier was made by Cliffworms, and I received his permission to include it in this mod. I thank him for this.

Usage:
----------

Place the Quests folder so it merges with your current Quests folder. It will replace about 20 text files.

Uninstall:
--------------

The download includes a zip of the vanilla DFU main quest files as of 1.1.1. You can unzip it and replace the main quest files using its contents.

Benefits:
-------------

1. Complete the TES2 main quest at any level
2. Get warnings on which quests are optional, which are required, and which ones you should not reject
3. Ignore the main quest completely if you choose, without any need of file replacements
4. No time limits on any main quest, including even Brisienna (who doesn't matter by the way, but she's now included as well)
5. Also eliminates all reputation requirements from main quest givers, so you don't have to grind side quests with their friends just to get a quest offer

Q: Isn't it kind of pompous to call this the Definitive Edition of the main quest?

A: Yes, I admit that. I just wanted a name that really says this has everything that people have requested. I just hope it's better received than the Grand Theft Auto Definitive Editions, which were definitely not definitive.

Q: Why isn't this a dfmod?

A: It's not possible. DFU places the highest priority on loose file replacements, like the stuff in the Textures or Sound folders, and then on dfmods. The main quest files are loose files. Even if I tried to create a dfmod for this, it would just be overwritten by the original game's loose files.

Q: Can I install this in the middle of a playthrough?

A: Yes. It won't affect any quests you have already begun. It will take effect on any quests you start after installing it.

Q: Is this tested?

A: I ran the entire main quest from character creation to Aetherius on the day I uploaded this. It is perfectly completable.

Q: What happens if a quest bugs out?

A: I tried hard to compile every element of the above mods, but there's a tiny risk of something not working. Remember that the main quest is never permanently broken if you're willing to use the console. Report any bugs you find and tell me about them, and we'll find a way to get your main quest progressing again.

Q: Is this compatible with The Tale Continues?

A: Whatever you install last will have priority, so if you want to add TTC to this, you must install it after installing this mod.
