The Armor Rating of Shields will now scale according to the Material they are made from.

It always bugged me that Shields had a set Armor value according to size, but not material. So I made this to make the Armor rating scale with material as well as size. I tried to keep them relatively modest for the sake of balance and game-play. As with the armor ratings of other Armors, Steel and Silver are the same; as are Mithril and Adamantium.
Armor ratings of Shields are now as follows:
Buckler..Round...Kite...Tower
Leather...........1..........2..........3..........4
Chain..............2..........3..........4..........5

Download the file from NEXUS.
INSTALLATION:
Unzip or paste the download contents into your StreamingAssets folder and let it overwrite if requested. VORTEX, if you use it, should do this automatically.
PROBLEMS & CONFLICTS:
I think this should be compatible with all mods... it just swaps out the vanilla shields for new ones that are the same except their armor value has been changed. Please report any problems or bugs in the appropriate comments/bugs sections on NEXUS or on this mods post at the DFWorkshop forums.
