I've recently completed the process of migrating all of my related DFU modding files from my work laptop and gaming pc to my personal laptop,
this is more portable, smaller, and also allows me to work on things wherever I travel.
Theirs also been some MASSIVE additions to both RMBRP and DET, the biggest one being a ID change of all assets in DET, meaning
to make use of the assets you'll see me steadily updating my mods to be compatible with the new ID's.
So here is the planned workflow for me at current:
Privateers Hold Redux 2.0 - June
(Redeveloped with current RMBRP and DET compatibility in mind.)
(A smaller location that is more inline with a vanilla+ approach)
Locations Overhauled (i apologize this is the last rename for these mods)
which is any location that is a standalone, ie. Thieves Guilds since there are so few fit into this (4 RMB's)
and Llugwych and Woodborne as well as some other main quest locations i'd take a crack at.)
Locations Overhauled - Llugwych, Woodborne Hall, Thieves Guild - June
(Redeveloped from the ground up with current RMBRP and DET compatibility)
(deeper dive into lore and dialogue and story to better reflect its existence.)
(Vanilla+ approach)
Cities Overhauled - Armourers 2.3 July~
(Ported to post DET1.0)
Cities Overhauled - Orsinium 2.0 August/September
- Fully redesigned from the ground up
- New unique mining settlement inspired by the original orsinium palace mod. (visible from the south west gate)
- Indepth worldbuilding.
- Custom layouts and some custom interiors.
- Vanilla+ mindset as well
- Full DET 1.0 and RMBRP compatibility.
^ And this is the gameplan
I have to give a special shoutout to Aethel who has been supporting me with the Orsinium release, and also some nods to Cliffworms and Carade who've provided some scripts to help port mods over, but have also provided some great feedback on some of the content and techniques used that have made my life painless with making these mods.
As always if you enjoyed getting involved and would like to learn a thing or two about modding along the way feel free to reach out, i'm more then happy to help some folks get into modding DFU, its a great game and community and one i'm happy to keep supporting.
