Update:
Howdy folks, following my last article i went on to quietly release locations overhauled: Thieves Guild, which i am currently now working towards a new version of that mod, to future proof it with Carademono's BCoD mod, which I HIGHLY recommend it tackles on a basic level a lot of what was being done with Cities Overhauled/Overhaul.
In the progress of a new product launch for work I somehow deleted my whole downloads and doccuments folders containing my modding setup and mod files, once again a strong lesson for me in listening to others to get a GitHub account which i have done and boy is life way easier.
Just this afternoon i got my setup fully back up and operational of an hour or two straight getting things setup and working.
so, what's my plans now?
1. Future proof Locations Overhauled Theives Guild
- Line it up with North, South, East, West, Roads
- Interiors for the Guild HQ
- Future Proofed for BCoD and other mods.
2. Fishguard Redux,
- With lessons learned I see a few areas i could improve.
- Keep to existing buildings used, leaning into the weird shapes
- Expansion of the town to make the lake bigger + orchard and more spaced-out localities
I came into DFU with this mindset of seeing how much could be improved/done with the world design and i've been blown away by whats been happening in the last 2 years i've been floating arround, I'm excited to see how many people picked up mod tools or dm'd in the discord asking for help learning the ropes and tools and DFU has been by far the nicest, most genuine, chill community i've been apart of.
