Original text: The Cyberpunk 2077 devs have already confirmed that Johnny is getting an upscaled and revamped facial texture for the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC. I was snooping through the game files, as one does, and found that the devs added the texture to the files early! To all of those anxiously awaiting the DLC, consider yourselves early access players ;)

Updated text: As of 9/21/2023, the face texture portion of the mod is obsolete. As of 2.0, Johnny's face texture has been replaced indefinitely with this new texture in the game files.

Many people in the comments were saying that the updated version looked like shit, and to that I say that the actual 2.0 update includes multiple other changes aside from this single texture upscale that I found in the pre-update files. His appearance is noticeably different now, way more so than this mod made him. If we were promised a cake and were given a single cup of flour as a teaser, it doesn't make sense to complain that the flour doesn't taste like a good cake! Anyhow, I digress. I'm going to leave this up here for posterity, but there's no need to download this portion of the mod anymore.


Still applicable: Johnny's eye color in the game files also happens to be a bit different than Keanu's actual eye color. This mod also includes an optional additional file which makes Johnny's eyes more of an amber/chocolate brown mix to more accurately match those of his absolutely nova actor.


Installation instructions:
Drop your file of choice into the Cyberpunk 2077 directory and unzip it.
