Tired of always crouching in order to sneak? Me too. You can now sneak even if not crouched. Hence this mod to always be sneaking.

This mod is not updated for 2.0 and I don't plan to make it work considering the changes done to the skill tree.
This is for sneaky players out there like myself.
I was always tired of this game being able to sneak only when crouch.
For me this does not make sense in any game. So I though to share this crude mod.
What you can do now:
How does the current mod version do it:
When you crouch the first time I set a variable in the combat state that always stays on after that. So the player is in Stealth even when walking.
Don't worry, combat state is not affected. The only file I changed is the playerCombatController script
I wanted to share this mod to see if other people enjoy this and also agree that tying stealth to crouching only is a an outdated idea.
This is a very crude mod cause it's my first attempt at one.
Plans:
Wanted make a sneak action that you can press a button and just sneak.
Maybe not being allowed to run while sneaking and only slow walk.
Alas, after hours spent searching through scripts and trying to understand it this is the most I could do.
I would love if someone can make a similar mod with more nuanced options or give me help to grow this

- Sneak even if you're not crouched
- See the damage preview so you can evaluate the kill
- You need to crouch once when you load in the game
- The vignette is there also (other mods should solve this)
- You are in stealth even if you are running???? (This I have to verify more)
- I don't know how this scales with the stealth abilities but it should (let me know)
