PATH TRACING - RT OVERDRIVE OPTIMISATIONS!
Has your GPU had enough?
Do you feel like fps is just too freaking low on this tech preview?
Well I have the solutionTM for you!
(at a minimal cost of quality obviously... but its still much better than original RT)
But it also brings 1.25/2.0x fps boost
What exactly does this mod do:
Reduces ray bounces from 2 to 1
(in performance also reduces ray count to 1)
(while not taking away any of the new, RTDI or ReSTIR functionality)
Exchanges Nvidia's GRIS to RIS
On some settings changes some settings to improve performance further
with minimal trade offs to quality
Up to:
1.55x the performance on Nvidia GPUs
1.6-1.9x the performance on AMD GPUs
Compare all versions
Taken on 3060ti
