There maybe little to no use to keep a simple .ini config file packed and cooked as Redmod because #1. The Phantom of Liberty update changed quite a bit and fixed, in particular, the way the vehicle .ini values are used within the context of crowd movement\ .ini foot traffic.
#2. I don't have the time to keep up with what is sure to be an onslaught of updates coming up.
THE VALUES ARE simply read as a config file .ini and you can change them yourselves if you want.
I have gone over these changes and CDRED have aligned/fixed several parameters that i had originally thought were bad. With that said this mod still has its place in my game and i think there are several parameters they have left that are quite different from mine. I'll continue to develop this as i can as i still see a difference to my game world. enjoy!
I've played from start to finish without your mod. I do not see anything noticeable in your showcase video. I want to watch the Matrix now. Best wishes. Highlight differences visually via comparison
There is an entirely separate comparison video that does exactly that. I can see you didn't make it to the full section part; aka. the adults section. You could have looked under the tab "videos" as well.
"we" all appreciate you being a great learning tool for everyone else who visits in the future.
Whenever you are dealing with a mod that says [ .ini tweak or crowds tweaks "big crowds" whatever.] just know downloading multiple of these mods doesn't "stack". They overwrite each other.
Sorry for coming back late to this. Does that mean they can't "overlap", as in in, if one mod changes some things under [Crowd] for example that your mod doesn't touch, and your mod loads after that tweak, will those settings be kept?
Having done some testing, Psycho Crowds will interfere with this mod a little bit, with the most notable effect being that NPCs will tend to aggressively bump into each other rather than try to avoid contact. I like some of the other traffic tweaks from Psycho Crowds, however, so it's fairly easy to make them compatible. Open up PsychoCrowds3.ini and delete all categories (and the entries under them) labelled [Animation], [AnimationSystem], [Bump], [Crowd], [CrowdMovement], [Crowds] and [Locomotion]. If you use the Better NPC Stair Walking from Psycho Crowds, also edit that file to delete the [Locomotion] section.
It's so much improved. I'm convinced after that comparison video. Bravo. In regards to GoodGuyJoseph, well, some people just don't have a discerning mind. A total lack of nuance, which can be the most important thing in a game like this, that tries to mimic an entire city.
You won't find this info even in the adult section. The difference between the normal and the lite version: [Crowd] AppropriateMinLastSeenTime = 9 > 2 DespawnLastSeenMinTime = 16 > 8 SpawnLimit = 22 > 7
[CrowdMovement] MarbleDirectionLookUp = 8 > 9 MarblePathDisplayMaxPoints = 13 > 8 MaxChancesToUseZebra = 10 > 9 MaxDirectionChangeAttempts = 8 > 3 MaxLanesCheckToJoinTrafficIfNotRelaxed = 10 > 6 MaxLanesCheckToJoinTrafficIfRelaxed = 4 > 2 MaxResumeMoveAttempts = 6 > 2 TrafficLightRelevantDistance = 19 > 12 Basically, the lite version makes it easier on your system.
I've installed the mod (on update 2.0) and saw a lot of npc with the same appearance (often twins). This issue wasn't before. Does someone have the same problem?
I haven't installed this mod yet but I have seen twins often and even sometimes up to 4 of the same NPC in a single area. It seems to occur more often since 2.0 came out.
It's always off. The problem occurs with this mod more often.
@alross10 that ist really strange because patch 2.0 solved the problem for me. I guess it depends on the ssd. Probably a "slow" ssd causing this. I don't know. Game is buggy as hell.
Found another problem when you watch a big crowd using stairs, sometimes they stopped moving before go up or down the stairs and more NPCs gather in one place.

Thank you everyone who took a chance and found that this added something good to their game like it did mine.
Great work Thanks!

Hope that helps! & thanks
why delete stuff like AnimationSystem, Bump, Locomotion from Psycho crowds, if this ini tweak doesn't have them ?
Just would like to understand this.
