I'm not really sure what I can update this with, if you want more songs there's the post below this one with more songs and a quick guide in my description on where to drop them, or using the same guide throw some tracks in that you enjoy. I intentionally left the tracklist as it is so there's a bit of variety and people could go in and fine tune it by just adding or removing mp3's, without having to sift through 50 tracks.
Afaik the mod still works fine as it's basically just a folder of music, if there's any issues with it not working it'd unfortunately be an issue with RadioEXT, CET or RED4ext. If it isn't any of those it'd be another mod causing issues with any one of those required mods.
Hey Choom, as a big city pop enjoyer I really love your mod, I've updated the Songlist with more than 40 other carefully selected city pop and other 80's J-music songs and balanced them with MP3Gain, I would like to share this to others, can I upload my version of your Mod on Nexus or here in a Google Drive maybe ?
Thanks for the appreciation choom, sorry for the slow reply, I'm barely on Nexus much. If you've got an expanded song list feel free to upload or add it how you like, I left this setlist pretty small to let people play around with adding their own stuff anyway and I'm glad people are enjoying it.
i seem to be in this dudes boat. other custom radio tracks play except yours i downloaded a whole bunch of other mods and suddenly you mod works again, maybe i missed something before
Hey choom! Diggin the vibes you put together for this one! I find myself aimlessly wandering Japantown while listening to this station on the Pocket Radio. My OCD started triggering when I kept seeing the missing icon though. So I went ahead and fixed that up for you! I wasn't a big fan of the icon you provided so I went ahead and also redesigned a new icon as well. Hope you don't mind. Like I said, it's functioning on the Pocket Radio as well as in vehicles so everything should be all good now!
Here's the file if you want to upload it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dCB_49_pTLnVo798PKF_Fhaz78GxZrS_/view?usp=share_link
Hey, thanks for going above and beyond! I didn't think anyone was gonna take up the offer to get the icon sorted, and I sorta just threw the original icon together to see if I could get it to work, which didn't turn out as you can tell. Sorry for taking a while to get back but I'll get the file added here, thanks again!
If you want to alter the volume level of the songs do the following: Navigate via this path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt\radios\106.7 Tokyo Nights While in the "106.7 Tokyo Nights" folder, open the file "metadata.json" with notepad Look for the section in the code that reads "volume":1.3,alter the numeric value to whatever you desire and click file then save in the top left It may take some trial and error to find the right volume level you like but I hope this helps.
Something to note: - Depending on the type of vehicle you are driving the music may drown out the engine noise or vise versa. So try to find the best music volume level that suits you. (I tend to have my volume at 3.0 instead of the default 1.3, and in my opinion it seems to be a pretty good balance for most vehicles)
How do I install this? Do I just extract it to the directory like for most mods, or does it need to go in a more specific area like the RadioExt folder?
If you're using vortex it'll just sort it for you, if not then you just want to drop it into the radioExt radios folder. Should look something like this steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt\radios - Just put it in there and it should work fine
I'm not sure unfortunately, so long as radioExt is installed correctly and the folder here is unzipped and place into the radio folders in radioExt/radios it should function. Are you using the correct version? The no logo version is the only functional one, I left the logo one in optional files in case anyone feels like attempting to fix it.
