Many players find that their MV's stubble, or the stubble underlay on their MV's beard, will disappear when they enter photomode. In some cases, this isn't much of an issue, but in others it leaves their V looking drastically different than they had intended.

This mod offers a fix by loading the stubble/stubble underlay in separately, in a way that sticks around in photomode.


How do I install this mod?

• Make sure you have Morphtarget & AnimRig Additions installed. This fix won't show up without this required supporting mod.
• Download and extract the contents of NLD_Photomode_Stubble_Fix.zip. 
• Choose one (1) file from the Bases folder and one (1) file from the Colors folder. 
• Place your chosen files in your Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod folder. If you do not have this folder, create it.
• Enjoy!
  

How do I know which files to use?
The files in the Bases folder are labeled with Slot [##]. This number refers to the slot that the file will occupy in the supporting Morphtarget & AnimRig Additions framework. If you do not have any other mods that rely on this framework, then you can use any one (1) file from the Bases folder. If you do have other mods that rely on this framework, you must choose a file from the Bases folder with a slot number that other mods are not already using. 

The files in the Colors folder are labeled with color names. Refer to the mod pictures to choose the color you would like to use. 


How do I remove this mod?
Remove any .archive files beginning with NLD_PhotomodeStubble from your Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod folder.


Known Issues & Compatibility

• With this mod installed, MV will appear to have stubble regardless of whether a stubble or beard option is selected in the character creator or mirror. This is not a bug or glitch, but simply how the mod works.
  

• In the character creator screen and mirrors, it will seem that V has doubled-up/extra thick/the wrong color stubble if you have a stubble or beard option selected. If you are bothered by the double-appearance of stubble in the character creation screen or mirrors, you can safely use FilipN389's Stubble Remover with this mod. Using the Stubble Remover alongside this fix will give MV a consistent appearance in the character creator, mirrors, and photomode. 
  

• The comparison and color selection images were taken with in-game lighting, without ReShade, on models using the 02 and 11 skin tones. The exact appearance on your MV may vary based on lighting and skin tone.
