I *highly* recommend limiting your game's framerate to 24fps (what VHS tapes tend to be at) while using this. I'm serious. You'll understand when you try it. I also recommend turning on all the postprocessing effects (motion blur, chromatic aberration, etc). If you really want the most 'authentic' experience possible, lower your resolution to 720p. Our goal is to make the game look old, and that'll do it.
I don't know why Cyberpunk and VHS aesthetics tend to go hand-in-hand, but here we are. This is a ReShade preset. If you don't know what that means, here's how to install this:
1. Go here and click the purple download button. 2. Run the installer you just downloaded. 3. Hit browse. 4. Find your Cyberpunk2077.exe and click it. 5. Select DX12 (should be auto-selected already). 6. Uncheck all, and then check all. Every box should be checked. 7. Let the thingy do its thing 8. Download the files I uploaded here and place them next to your Cyberpunk2077.exe (bin/x64/) 9. Run the game, allow ReShade to inject itself, and then hit the Home key (either Home/End or 7 on the NumPad. Try both.) to open the ReShade menu. 10. Click the drop-down menu and find "VHS VIBEZ.ini" 11. you're done good job im so proud of you
NOTE: You can mix and match this with any lighting mod/LUT you want. Go nuts.
